Good Morning Mustangs!

Week 1 is upon us and I know we all can’t wait for Game Day. Despite not playing under the lights, we know it will be a great atmosphere regardless. Kickoff is at 11 am vs Westwood!

We had our Kickoff BBQ last week and it was a blast! Thank you to the Gridiron Club and Parents who volunteered and contributed to the event.

A couple of reminders:

1. We are in need of a chain crew (4 People), preferable the same 4 for all the home games. This is the best seat in the house. We can also use someone who would be dedicated to filming games (1 Person). We have a camera, just need a volunteer. We usually use ineligible players, but I would rather them be on the sideline focused on the game. Please email me @coachmazzola@gmail.com ASAP if you are interested in volunteering.

2. This weekend kicks off Gridiron Discount Club Card Sales. Good luck to all the Teams.! This is a great fundraiser to help our program.

3. Now that school is in full swing, please remind your athletes to communicate with me if they are in need of extra academic support after school. We do not start until 3:30, so there is plenty of time to meet with teacher’s and get some work done.

4. This weekend is the parent social (9/14 @ 7 pm at the Thayer Homestead). Looking forward to a great event!
