Good Morning,

Football season is here. Some of the upperclassmen just finished a three-day camp in Ashland where they were able to get a taste of new expectations moving forward as well as compete versus some solid programs. They did great and worked very hard. We definitely improved over the three days.

Today is media day (picture day). Photos will be taken of the payers in their Blue Jersey’s with khakis or khaki shorts. If your athlete does not have a blue game jersey please plan to arrive at the school around 3:30 to be issued a jersey. THERE WILL NOT BE PARENT MEETING FOLLOWING MEDIA DAY. MONDAY AUGUST 19 THERE IS AN ATHLETIC MEETING FOR ALL ATHLETES @ 6 pm.

Friday kicks off the pre-season. Freshman who has not received equipment will be issued equipment on Friday @ 3 pm and Coach Shumaker will hold a brief Team meeting for all freshman football players as well immediately following equipment issue.

If any varsity players have not been issued equipment, the should plan on arriving at the school around 2:30. Also, if you have not turned in an updated physical to Mr. Parcells, please do so prior to Friday. Athletes will not be able to participate without an updated physical on file. Please refer to the school athletic website for schedules. If there is a change, a message will go out through HUDL to all the athletes and it will also be reflected on the school website.
